Important Information Regarding Medical Insurance

Please note that new medical cards have been mailed to all of you enrolled in Anthem plans, so please make sure you check your mail for your new cards.
 
We have been advised that everyone received a new membership number, even if they did not make any changes to their Anthem plan. Utilizing your 2019 member number to your doctor for care in 2020 may result in you being told you do not have insurance. Therefore, it is critical to obtain your new enrollment member number to provide to your doctors when seeking care.
 
If you did not receive a new card in the mail, you have three options:
 
1. Download the “Sydney” app by Anthem and you will always have your card with you when your phone is with you;
2. Go online to Anthem and get a copy of your card;
